My NHS- GP surgery run a 'Phone & photo' type service. None of my devices give clear enough photos . Not being top of the range. Any suggestions to deal with this problem... without great expense...

I am not sure what you are asking. What is being used to take the photos? What is being photographed?

1. subject; Injuries to skin.
2. Devices; Amazon fire Tablet & Olympus point & shoot ( digital.).
Neither of those will probably allow you to focus close enough to get a good image. The Olympus may be able to take a screw on it stick on extra lens, but the quality is usually not as good but may be good enough. Check on Amazon for "close up lens" and check for size to make sure it fits over the existing lens.
