News New Pentax is "the most advanced APS-C flagship model available today"

Mar 9, 2020
APS-C is unnecessary going forward now that the price point for 24x36 sensors has dropped. It no longer serves its original purpose.

Considering the great results Fujifilm has enjoyed with their GFX line , I would have expected Pentax to work on their MF offering by either creating a new smaller MF body purpose built for a fresh 44x33 sensor or by really shocking the industry with a full frame 645 sensor in their existing 645 body.

The company needs to let go of legacy product inclusion and move forward ...or just go 100% all in retro and deliver fresh 645 and 67 film cameras and fill that niche of people dissatisfied by digital.
