News The best binoculars in 2020: binoculars for wildlife, nature and astronomy

Feb 29, 2020
I just retired my vintage Tasco 10x25 porro prism's and picked up a pair of Nikon Prostaff 3S 8x42 roof prisms to take with me into the field this season. Sure they're not top of the line but they're bright enough and light enough to do me for the time being. Sure it would've been ideal to have a pair of Monarch 7's, that can wait a while. :giggle:

I consider binoculars pretty much standard must have pieces of equipment for wildlife photography, just it gets a little annoying with a back pack on, binocular harness, and a camera on a cross body strap.
